Agrilife24.com: Kemin AquaScience successfully hosted the Zyvanta™ Summit 2025 at the Radisson Blu Water Garden Hotel in Dhaka on 19 July evening, bringing together industry experts, researchers, and aquaculture professionals to explore novel and sustainable solutions for the feed and fisheries sector. The event was co-organised by Doctor's Agro Vet Ltd.
The formal session began with a welcome speech by Dr. Rajesh Sikder, Senior Manager - Sales, setting the tone for a knowledge-driven evening.
Dr. Chinnadurai Sugumar, Marketing Director, introduced Kemin’s vision and commitment under the presentation “This is Kemin”, highlighting the company’s global role in advancing aquaculture nutrition.
A key highlight of the summit was the presentation “Dynamics of Enzymes in Fish Feed Nutrition” by Dr. Noratat Prachom, a noted expert in aquatic animal nutrition and feed technology. His insights underscored the importance of enzyme applications in improving feed efficiency and sustainability.
Dr. Bindhu Lakshmibai Vasanthakumari, Leader of Enzyme Technology-R&D, then captivated the audience with her session though online from USA titled “Enzyme Innovation at Kemin: From Discovery to Intelligent Design”, offering a deep dive into the company’s cutting-edge research in enzyme development.
The spotlight then turned to Zyvanta™, Kemin’s latest innovation in aquaculture feed solutions. Dr. Bernard Joy, Product Manager II, presented “Zyvanta™-Beyond Nutrition”, elaborating on its multifaceted benefits in fish health and performance. This was followed by “Zyvanta™-Application Technology” presented by Mr. Manab Samanta, Regional Business Manager-millSMART™, focusing on practical implementation strategies for optimal outcomes.
A dynamic Q&A panel brought together Dr. Noratat, Dr. Bindhu, Dr. Bernard, Mr. Manab, and Dr. M Rajalekshmi, Director-R&D, allowing the audience to engage directly with the experts.
The evening concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Mr. Krishnan P, Regional Director-South Asia, who expressed gratitude to the participants, speakers, and organizers for making the summit a success.
