
Staff Correspondent: Bangladesh’s poultry sector is rapidly advancing, keeping pace with global developments through continuous innovation in animal nutrition and health management. Local animal nutrition experts are working tirelessly focusing on sustainable and efficient feed solutions. To highlight these issues, a technical seminar theme “BETTER PHARMA BEST PRACTICES 2025” was organized in Dhaka Saturday, October'25), at the Dhaka Regency Hotel & Resort.
The event was graced by H.E. Mrs. Thitiporn Chirasawadi, Ambassador-Designate of Thailand to Bangladesh, who delivered the grand opening speech.
The seminar also addressed one of the major challenges in poultry health management in Bangladesh Coccidiosis. Experts discussed effective strategies and solutions to mitigate the risks associated with this disease, emphasizing the importance of proper health management practices.

Two key technical papers were presented during the seminar. The first, titled “Latest Advancements in Poultry Nutrition: Strategies for Efficient Feed Production,” was delivered by Professor Dr. Chaiyapoom Bunchasak from the Department of Animal Science, Faculty of Agriculture, Kasetsart University, Bangkok. The second presentation, “Health Management on Coccidiosis Problem with the Right Solution,” was conducted by Dr. Norachit Noiprasert (DVM), Poultry Technical Manager at Betagro Thailand.
The event concluded with a speech by A.K.M. Humaun Kabir, Chief Executive Officer of Argil NE Bangladesh, who highlighted the company’s commitment to advancing the nation’s poultry industry through innovation, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.
Among others present at the event were company partner Mr. Rashedur Rahman Rupom, as well as senior officials from both companies.
