agrilife24.com:Agro Solution with support of Katalyst and cooperation of WorldFish-Bangladesh is going to organize a two days training on “Fish Feed Nutrition and Formulation”.
The training program will be facilitated by seven internationally reputed and experienced feed nutrition and formulation experts. The training content covers most of the important topics for least cost formulation and quality feed production. During training session participants will be offered by lunch, tea, snack and necessary documents and lecture notes.
The development of aquaculture and commercialization depends on quality feed, seed & management. The use of aquaculture feed in Bangladesh has grown substantially in the past few years, and now over 1.3 million tonnes of formulated feed are being produced, and used by aquaculture farmers. The rapid growth in use of formulated feeds has helped aquaculture farmers to intensify production, but at the same time has raised a number of issues, including quality feed, management efficiency, sustainability, and others.
The proper knowledge of feed nutrition and formulation is one of the major constraints in quality feed production, and the scenario become stable due to unavailability of the service providers and lack of quality information flow. So, Agro Solution has started addressing these constraints within their activities among the stakeholders in Fish Feed
Agro Solution initiated some activities for improving knowledge of commercial feed company’s personnel by providing training and then linking with service providers for regular quality support through with the support of Katalyst & WorldFish.
