Agrilife24.com:A technical session titled “Performance Under Pressure: Maximizing Productivity in Turbulent Time” was held at the Sky Ballroom of Hotel Le Méridien Dhaka, jointly organized by Phileo by Lesaffre and Planet Pharma. The event commemorated a decade-long partnership between the two organizations and brought together poultry industry professionals, researchers, academics, and stakeholders to discuss contemporary challenges and opportunities in poultry production.
The session was designed to provide practical, science-based solutions for improving poultry productivity under challenging production conditions. Discussions centered on strengthening immunity, enhancing flock performance, and promoting gut health as essential drivers of sustainable poultry farming and improved production efficiency.
The program commenced with a welcome address by Shah Fahad Habib, Director of Planet Group, who highlighted the importance of innovation, technical knowledge, and industry collaboration in addressing the evolving needs of Bangladesh’s poultry sector.
Md. Shahzaman Khan, Director General of the Department of Livestock Services (DLS), attended the event as the chief guest, while Dr. Shakila Faruque, Director General of the Bangladesh Livestock Research Institute (BLRI), was present as the special guest.
The technical session featured presentations from distinguished international experts, including Stephane Jonuel, APAC & AfMECA Director, Phileo by Lesaffre; Saurabh Singh, Head of Business-East Central Asia (ECA), Phileo by Lesaffre; Dr. Michal Marcin Duda, Europe Poultry Technical Manager, Phileo by Lesaffre; and Dr. Vaibhav Madhukar Khandagale, Business Manager Poultry (ECA), Phileo by Lesaffre.
The speakers shared global industry perspectives, technical expertise, and practical recommendations aimed at helping poultry producers sustain productivity and profitability in an increasingly demanding production environment.
During the event, participants explored emerging global poultry industry trends and gained actionable insights into flock health management, nutrition, and performance optimization. Experts emphasized the adoption of innovative nutritional and management strategies to address production challenges while ensuring long-term sustainability and growth.
The program concluded with closing remarks by Shah Habibul Haque, Managing Director of Planet Group, who reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to supporting Bangladesh’s livestock and poultry industries through knowledge-sharing, technological advancement, and strategic partnerships.
Among those present were Md. Mosleh Uddin, Director of Planet Group, along with other directors and senior officials of the group. The event was jointly anchored by Soyyeb Adnan, Deputy Manager, and Mohammad Riaz Ghauri, Assistant Manager, who served as anchors for the session.
