Desk report:The Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU), successfully organized a day-long training workshop titled “Effective Use of Turnitin Software for Academic Integrity and Research Ethics”at the Conference Room, Faculty of Agriculture, BAU. A total of 56 university teachers participated in the workshop.

The inaugural session was chaired by Professor Dr. Mst. Minara Khatun, Director, IQAC, BAU, while Professor Dr. Md. Rafiqul Islam Sarder, Vice-Chancellor, BAU, attended as the Chief Guest. Professor Dr. Md. Ruhul Amin and Professor Dr. Masum Ahmad attended as Special Guests. Professor Dr. M. G. Mostofa Amin, Additional Director, IQAC, delivered the welcome speech.

The technical sessions featured lectures and hands-on demonstrations on "Similarity Checking, AI Detection, and Rubric-Based Grading" conducted by Professor Dr. Md. Rostom Ali, Director, ICT Cell, BAU, and Professor Dr. Md. Salauddin Palash, Department of Agribusiness and Marketing, BAU. The programme was conducted by Professor Dr. Md. Akhtarul Alam, Additional Director, IQAC, BAU.

The workshop aimed to strengthen teachers' practical skills in using Turnitin, promote plagiarism prevention, ensure academic integrity, and enhance research ethics and quality education at BAU.
