Timely diagnosis of the non-pregnant animal by the farmer helps them to re-breed at the subsequent estrus & to maintain an optimum calving interval. Current method takes around 75-90 days to identify dry cows. PAG based milk/Blood sample test method can identify open cows as early as 28 days. Early pregnancy diagnosis is key to shorten the calving interval through early identification of open animals & their timely treatment & re-breeding so as to maintain a postpartum barren. Early pregnancy-early calving-early new lactation-Early production. Then more milk, more money.
