Agrilife24.com: ACI Animal Health, one of the leading companies in Bangladesh’s animal health sector, in collaboration with renowned Chinese enterprise Lachance Group, successfully hosted a high-profile technical seminar titled "Application of Bile Acid in Keeping Good Health of Liver and Fat Utilization Towards Better Performance of Animal." The event took place at Dhaka Regency Hotel & Resort on 25 June (Wednesday), bringing together key stakeholders, experts, and industry professionals from both local and international platforms.
The seminar commenced at 7:00 PM with a Welcome Address by Dr. Md. Amjad Hossain, Head of Business at ACI Animal Health. In his opening remarks, Dr. Hossain highlighted the growing importance of scientific advancements in animal nutrition and the strategic role of bile acids in improving animal health and performance.
This was followed by an Introduction of Lachance Group and China Feed Developing by Mr. Arman Roy, Sales Manager at Shandong Longhang Animal Health Products Co., Ltd. He emphasized the group’s commitment to innovation and partnership in the global feed industry.
A key highlight of the seminar was the session on "Global Trends of Using Bile Acids in Poultry Diets & Runeon Application in Turkey" presented via Zoom by Mr. Seyfi Ay, Deputy Chairman of Tetra Force Nutrition Inc. He provided insights into international best practices and emerging trends in bile acid application, drawing from practical case studies in the Turkish poultry industry.
The local context was addressed by Kbd. Md. Akteruzzaman, Technical Consultant, who spoke on "Application of Bile Acid in Feed Industry in Bangladesh." He outlined current usage patterns and future opportunities for optimizing feed efficiency and animal performance through bile acid supplementation.
Another international perspective was shared via Zoom by Ms. Thiti Jeenyim, Technical Sales representative from Lachance Group, who discussed the "Bile Acid Market Developing Situation & Runeon Application in Thailand." Her presentation offered a comparative analysis of market evolution and product efficacy in Southeast Asia.
The seminar was graced by the presence of other senior officials including Dr. Md. Faisal Ferdous (National Sales Manager) and Mr. Mahady Islam (Marketing Manager, Aqua) of ACI Animal Health, who contributed to the success of the event through their active engagement.
