Bangladesh’s First-Ever Cosmetics, Personal Care & Hygiene Show Kicks Off

Agrilife24.com:Bangladesh’s first-ever two-day exhibition dedicated to cosmetics, personal care, and hygiene products Kicks Off today. This expo shows marking a significant milestone in the country’s fast-growing beauty and wellness industry.

The inaugural ceremony of Cosmetica: Personal Care & Hygiene Show 2025 was held today (Friday) at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in Dhaka, inaugurated by Park Youngsik, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Bangladesh.

For the first time in Bangladesh, such a large-scale platform is bringing together the leading names from the cosmetics and personal care sector. In addition to Bangladesh, the exhibition is hosting renowned brands, manufacturers, suppliers, retailers, and health experts from Korea, Thailand, and several other countries.

The event is supported by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Bangladesh, the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), and the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), Thailand. Square Toiletries Ltd. is the Title Sponsor, with Cute as the Gold Sponsor and Ingenious Resources as the Platinum Sponsor.

Over the two days, visitors can explore more than a hundred product stalls, enjoy live demonstrations, receive beauty consultations, engage in discussions with skincare specialists, and connect with industry stakeholders for business networking. Industry leaders expect the event to open new avenues for investment, technology adoption, and partnerships in Bangladesh’s personal care sector.

Speaking at the inauguration, Ambassador Park Youngsik said, “In 2024, Korea exported $10 billion worth of cosmetic products. Bangladesh is a major potential market for cosmetics and personal care items. Korea has always been a trusted business partner to Bangladesh, and we are keen to invest in this sector. This expo will give us deeper insights into the local market and its opportunities.”

SM Faisal Munim, CEO of the organizing company Squadmind Global Ltd., remarked, “I would like to thank everyone involved in making this event possible. For the first time in Bangladesh, we are bringing together all stakeholders from the cosmetics and personal hygiene industry under one roof. The exhibition will highlight the proper use of cosmetics and personal care items, foster local and foreign investment, and create employment opportunities. We hope this initiative will also attract more foreign investments into Bangladesh.”

The exhibition also aims to raise awareness about quality product usage and address challenges such as counterfeit goods and black-market sales. Discussions will focus on the sector’s growth prospects as well as its challenges. Industry insiders believe that Cosmetica: Personal Care & Hygiene Show 2025 will open new horizons for quality improvement and international partnerships in Bangladesh’s personal care industry.

Other speakers at the opening ceremony included Malik Mohammad Sayeed, CEO of Square Toiletries Ltd.; Md. Kamrul Hasan, Chief Business Officer (CBO) of ACI Consumer Brands; Fakhrul Alam of Ingenious Resources; Manoj Arora, Chairman & MD of Sacheerome; and AKM Azad, President of DIAA.
The event’s Strategic Partner is Haal Fashion, the lifestyle wing of Prothom Alo, with Canvas lifestyle magazine, Protidiner Bangladesh, and Bangla Telegraph as Media Partners.

The exhibition will remain open to all visitors from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM daily.
