Staff correspondent:A seminar titled “Enhancing Poultry Performance by Probiotics (Calsporin) & Characteristics of Good Probiotics” was successfully organized by NexGen Pharma Ltd. on behalf of Asahi Biocycle Co., Ltd, Japan, on August 20, 2025, at Dream Square Resort, Sreepur, Gazipur.
The event brought together poultry farmers, nutritionists, feed millers, business professionals, and industry experts to address current challenges in the poultry sector through the use of probiotics.
Distinguished speakers Dr. Gentaro Yasuda, Ph.D., General Manager, Sustainability Headquarters, Tokyo, and Dr. Kenji Muneshige, Ph.D., Chief of R\&D Division, Asahi Biocycle Co., Ltd., shared valuable insights on improving gut health, boosting performance, and disease control in poultry with probiotics.
The seminar began with a welcome speech by Md. Mohe Uddin Al Mamun, Managing Director of NexGen Pharma Ltd., and concluded with a commitment to strengthen collaboration in advancing sustainable poultry production in Bangladesh.
Although the company’s Chairman, Col. (Retd.) Dr. Md. Zakir Hossain, BSP, PBGMS conveyed his heartfelt greetings and gratitude to all the distinguished guests. He expressed optimism that the company, with the collective efforts of stakeholders, will continue working towards ensuring safe animal protein production in the future.
