Agrilife24.com:The Animal Health Companies Association of Bangladesh (AHCAB) has announced the 6th AHCAB International Expo 2026, to be held from January 8–10 at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB), Dhaka.
This year’s theme, “Healthy Animal, Thriving Nation,” highlights the role of animal health in safe food production, nutrition security, and rural economic growth. The event will showcase products and innovations from global and local companies, alongside expert dialogues on sustainable livestock practices and trade opportunities.
Speaking at a press conference, Sayem ul Haq, President of AHCAB, said the Expo would be a milestone for Bangladesh’s animal health sector. “By presenting global innovations with local expertise, the event aims to strengthen a sustainable ecosystem that supports farmers and ensures safe protein supply,” he noted.
Md. Anowar Hossen, Secretary General of AHCAB, also addressed questions from journalists. The session was moderated by Dr. Md. Mujammel Haq Khan, Member Secretary, IT & Media Management Committee, while Mr. Mohammad Rashedul Jakir, convener,Member Secretary, IT & Media Management Committee delivered the vote of thanks.
The Expo is expected to attract policymakers, industry leaders, veterinarians, researchers, and entrepreneurs from home and abroad.
