Special correspondent: With an 8% annual increase in poultry production, consumers in South Asia are making health-conscious decisions such as consuming more high-quality protein. A knowledge gap exists between the consumers' need for hygienically processed food and what the industry can supply.
To address this knowledge gap, USSEC has organized organized A seminar on "Cold Chain Management and Poultry Processing" in Dhaka, Bangladesh on Thursday July 13 at Intercontinental Dhaka.
The main objective of this seminar was to discover the latest poultry processing and cold chain management technologies, best practices for environment-friendly storage facilities, ways to market processed meats and the role sustainability plays in poultry feed made from U.S. Soy.
The speakers focus on Producing high quality safe meat with technological advancements, Eco-Friendly Energy systems, Construction of cold chain storage, Green housing for poultry, Cold chain logistics & supply chain process, creating a modern chicken processing & distribution plant, Technological updates on ready to eat meal products, Marketing processed chicken and eggs in south Asia, Processing eggs etc.issues while delivering the speech at the seminar.
