রাজধানী প্রতিনিধি: রাজধানী ঢাকায় শুরু হয়েছে ২ দিন ব্যাপী আন্তজার্তিক পোল্ট্রি সেমিনার। দেশের পোল্ট্রি শিল্পের বিকাশ ও চ্যালেঞ্জ দূরীকরণে দেশ-বিদেশের খ্যাতনামা পোল্ট্রি বিশেষজ্ঞেদের গবেষণালব্ধ পোষ্টার এখানে উপস্থাপন করা হয়েছে। পোল্ট্রি শিল্পের সাথে জড়িত সকল পর্যায়ের স্টেকহোল্ডারবৃন্দ, বিশেষজ্ঞ, শিক্ষক, গবেষকসহ ৪ শতাধিক ব্যক্তিবর্গ দুইদিনব্যাপি (১৪-১৫ মার্চ ) সকাল ৯ টা থেকে রাজধানীর ব্লু রেডিসন হোটেলে ওই সেমিনারে অংশগ্রহন করছেন। যেখানে প্রদর্শিত হচ্ছে ৫২ টি পোস্টার।

কোন ধরনের বিষয়গুলো পোষ্টারে প্রদর্শন করা হচ্ছে জানতে চাইলে সেমিনার টেকনিক্যাল কমিটির কনভেনার প্রফেসর ড. এমদাদুল হক চৌধুরী বলেন, পোল্ট্রি শিল্পের আধুনিক টেকনোলজিগুলোই এখানে উপস্থাপন করা হচ্ছে। যারা এগুলোতে অংশ নিবেন তারা এ প্রযুক্তিগুলো সম্পর্কে জ্ঞান লাভ করে তার পোল্ট্রি খামারের উন্নয়ন সাধন ও জ্ঞান লাভ করতে পারবেন।
জানা গেছে, দেশ বিদেশের পোল্ট্রি সেক্টরের সাথে যুক্ত গবেষক, শিক্ষক, বিজ্ঞানীগণ এ পোস্টারগুলো প্রদর্শন করছেন। যেখানে সারাবিশ্বে পোল্ট্রি গবেষণা ও লাগসই প্রযুক্তি সম্পর্কে জানার সুযোগ তৈরি হয়েছে সেমিনারে আগত সকলের।
একাধিক শিল্প উদ্যোক্তাদের সম্পর্কে কথা বললে তারা জানান, উন্নত বিশ্বের পোল্ট্রি সেক্টর যেভাবে এগিয়ে যাচ্ছে আমাদেরও সেভাবে টেকসই করে পোল্ট্রি শিল্প গড়ে তুলতে হবে। দুদিন ব্যাপি সেমিনার আজ বুধবার (১৫ মার্চ) শেষ হবে। আগামীকাল থেকে ইন্টারন্যাশনাল কনভেনশন সিটি বসুন্ধরায় শুরু হতে যাচ্ছে তিন দিনব্যাপি (১৬-১৮ মার্চ) উপমহাদেশের সবচেয়ে বড় আন্তর্জাতিক পোল্ট্রি শো।
