Staff Correspondent: A technical seminar on advanced poultry equipment solutions was successfully held today (23 October) in Dhaka, Bangladesh, organized by FIT Farm Innovation Team GmbH in collaboration with Prestige Feed & Ingredient. The event took place at Dhaka Regency Hotel & Resort, highlighting how modern technology is shaping a more efficient and sustainable poultry industry in Bangladesh.
The seminar began with a welcome speech by Mr. Kazi Aziz Sobhan, CEO of Prestige Feed & Ingredient. With increasing industry focus on productivity, animal welfare, and long-term sustainability, the event emphasized the vital role of intelligent equipment systems in modern poultry farming.
Experienced engineers conducted in-depth training sessions on FIT Poultry Cage Systems including Layer, Pullet, and Broiler cages covering topics such as cage design, ventilation, and energy-efficient management. Through videos, diagrams, and practical demonstrations, participants gained valuable insights into equipment operation, maintenance, and smart farm planning.
Expert speakers from FIT shared their specialized knowledge on key technological innovations: Mr. Jens Rudolph CEO of FIT Farm Innovation Team GmbH discussed the discussed “Manure Drying System with Solar Panels Converts wet manure into a sellable fertilizer product, turning a waste problem into a sustainable income source”. He also presented the "Broiler Cage System Designed for fast-growing broilers, this integrated system minimizes infrastructure, land use, and energy consumption, achieving optimal production costs for poultry meat" "Farm Management and IT Monitoring System Enables real-time control and monitoring of large-scale production facilities for improved efficiency and productivity".
The program also featured international case studies demonstrating how automation and precision farming tools can enhance performance and reduce environmental impact. A lively Q&A session allowed local poultry entrepreneurs to explore customized solutions suited to Bangladesh’s tropical climate. As the country’s poultry sector continues to expand, the seminar underscored the importance of adopting innovative and sustainable technologies to drive long-term growth and profitability.
