Agrilife24.com:In a strategic leadership move aimed at accelerating innovation and sustainable growth in Bangladesh’s livestock and aquaculture sectors, ACI Animal Health has appointed industry veteran Jayanta Dutta Gupta as Executive Director, effective August 2, 2026.
With more than three decades of experience in animal health, aquaculture, crop care, and agribusiness, Jayanta brings proven expertise in business expansion, brand development, supply chain management, and commercialization of innovative solutions. Industry observers believe his appointment will further strengthen ACI Animal Health’s market leadership and farmer-focused initiatives.
Prior to joining ACI, he spent nearly 27 years at Square Pharmaceuticals PLC, where he served as General Manager and Head of the AgroVet & Crop Care Division. Throughout his career, he played a key role in driving business growth, strengthening global partnerships, and introducing modern technologies across the agriculture and livestock sectors.
A graduate and postgraduate in Pharmacy with an MBA in Marketing, Jayanta has also completed several executive development programs in leadership, strategic management, and business development.
