Staff Correspondent: Gentry Pharmaceuticals Limited successfully hosted an international technical seminar titled “Maximizing Feed Efficiency, Gut Health, and Profitability in Modern Poultry Production: The Role of Refined Functional Carbohydrates,” addressing some of the most pressing challenges facing the poultry industry, including rising feed costs, gut health management, production efficiency, and sustainable growth.
The event took place on Saturday, June 20, at Le Méridien Dhaka, bringing together poultry industry leaders, veterinarians, nutritionists, feed mill professionals, researchers, and poultry entrepreneurs from across Bangladesh. The seminar focused on advancing sustainability, productivity, and profitability in the modern poultry sector through innovative nutritional solutions.
During the technical sessions, participants gained valuable insights into the role of Refined Functional Carbohydrates (RFCs) in improving intestinal health, enhancing immune function, reducing production stress, and optimizing feed utilization. The event featured distinguished international speakers Dr. Ajeet Bishnoi, MVSC, MS, Regional Manager, South Aisa, Middle East & Africa of ARM & HAMMER ANIMAL & FOOD PRODUCTION, USA delivered a presentation on emerging nutritional approaches and market trends in poultry production, while Dr. Sridhar Kalakuntla (Dr. Sridhar Kalakuntla , Technical Service Manager, ARM & HAMMER™ Animal & Food Production, USA ) shared scientific findings and practical field experiences on improving gut health and feed efficiency through advanced nutritional technologies.
