Staff correspondent: New Executive Committee of World Veterinary Poultry Association (WVPA)-Bangladesh Branch has been constituted. In the new committee with 21 members Professor Dr. Emdadul Haque Chowdhury elected as president and Dr. Md. Nurul Islam Shawon as General Secretary.
The election was held after the Annual General Meeting at Banani Club on Saturday (February 4). The chairman of the election board Dr. Nitish Chandra Debnath announced the new executive committee.
The EC committee was formed by the unanimous consent of all the members present at AGM. Two women members have been elected to the new committee. Other two members of the election board, former Director General of DLS Dr. Manzoor Md. Shahzada and CEO of Jims Tech International Dr. M. Ali Imam were present.
