‘A1 RG Esports’ crowned champion of Airtel Gaming Arena

Agrilife24.com:Airtel, the youth-centric brand of Robi Axiata PLC successfully concluded the country’s largest-ever esports tournament, Airtel Gaming Arena, with massive participation from gaming enthusiasts across the nation.

The event marks a milestone in Bangladesh’s esports landscape as the biggest PUBG MOBILE tournament organized by a brand in the country. The grand closing ceremony took place today at Robi Corporate Office in Dhaka.

A1 RG Esports emerged as the champion, followed by Genesis GVIT as the first runner-up and Normies Esports as the second runner-up.

During the ceremony, the top 10 teams were recognized for their dedication, teamwork, and achievements. Beyond trophies and prizes, the tournament symbolized something deeper — the continued evolution of Bangladesh’s esports movement, where leading brands like Airtel stand beside the youth to help transform their digital aspirations into reality.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Shihab Ahmad, Chief Commercial Officer of Robi Axiata PLC, said, “This event reflects Airtel’s commitment to empowering the youth through digital platforms. Organized to connect, celebrate, and inspire young gamers, the tournament became a defining platform for the country’s growing esports community. Thousands of passionate gamers and supporters came together under one arena to showcase their talent and teamwork.

The competition began with 512 registered teams and over 2,500 gamers from across Bangladesh, who battled through six thrilling rounds. Each stage of the tournament highlighted their strategy, coordination, and gaming excellence.

The semifinals and grand finale were streamed live on Airtel Buzz’s Facebook page, attracting massive viewership. Notably, the YouTube live stream of the grand finale achieved the top global ranking in the PUBG MOBILE category — a first for a Bangladesh-based brand-led esports event.
