Staff correspondent: In a significant move to fortify Bangladesh’s poultry industry against one of its most persistent economic threats, Nature Care Manufacturing Industry Limited, in partnership with Novation CCPA (France) and Nanjing Huimu Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (China), hosted a high-level technical seminar titled “Coccidiosis: Impact on Gut Health Integrity.”
The event took place on Saturday, May 09, 2026, at the Le Méridien Hotel in Dhaka, drawing a wide range of poultry professionals and industry stakeholders.Organized under the strategic leadership of Mr. Joyanta Kumar Deb, Managing Director of Nature Care Manufacturing Industry Limited, the seminar focused on bridging the gap between global scientific innovation and local field application.
The initiative addressed the critical challenges of coccidiosis a disease that severely compromises intestinal integrity and nutrient absorption offering modern anticoccidial solutions and precision feed additives to ensure sustainable production and increased profitability for local farmers.
Professor Sun Weidong, a renowned Field Pathologist and Consultant from Nanjing Agricultural University, China, shared his extensive expertise on disease pathology and globally proven practices tailored for the Bangladeshi climate. The technical sessions featured a lineup of world-class experts who provided actionable insights into disease management.
Mr. Oscar Mendoza, DVM, representing the Technical Department at Nutega Company (CCPA Group), France, delivered a compelling presentation on “Butyric Acid: Managing Gut Health and Performance Through Nutrition,” emphasizing how targeted nutrition can enhance absorption and overall flock vigor.
Complementing this, Mr. Evan Bai of Nanjing Huimu Biotechnology Co., Ltd. presented a paper titled “Breaking the Resistance Cycle: A New Option for Coccidiosis Control,” introducing novel strategies to overcome drug resistance in poultry.
The event also saw the active participation of Jean Miao, International Trade Manager from Huimu, and Kbd. Liton Chowdhury, General Manager of Nature Care, among other distinguished guests.
