Agrilife24.com:The highly anticipated "3th International Poultry Show" is set to commence with a grand inaugural ceremony on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at the Bangladesh–China Friendship Exhibition Center, Purbachal, Dhaka. The World’s Poultry Science Association - Bangladesh Branch (WPSA-BB) and the Bangladesh Poultry Industries Central Council (BPICC)are jointly organizing the three-day event, running from February 20 to 22, 2025.
The inaugural session will feature Ms. Farida Akhte, Honorable Adviser, Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, as theChief Gues.
The event will also be attended by eminent personalities as Special Guests, including Md. Tofazzel Hossain, Secretary (Routine Duty), Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock, Dr. Md. Abu Sufiun, Director General, Department of Livestock Services (DLS), Dr. Shakila Faruque, Director General, Bangladesh Livestock Research Institute (BLRI) .
The ceremony will be chaired by Mr. Moshiur Rahman, President of WPSA-BB.
Programme Highlights
The inauguration will commence at 3:00 PM with a recitation from the Holy Books, followed by a Welcome Address by Dr. Biplab Kumar Pramanick, General Secretary of WPSA-BB. Other notable speakers include Mr. Shamsul Arefin Khaled, Dr. Md. Monirul Islam, and several esteemed guests from the poultry and livestock sectors.
The Chief Guest will officially inaugurate the "International Poultry Show" at 4:30 PM with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and exhibition visit.
