Prof. Dr. Emdadul Haque Chowdhury Honored with Hall of Fame at WVPA Congress 2025

Agrilife24.com:Prof. Dr. Emdadul Haque Chowdhury, renowned poultry health expert and former Vice-Chancellor of Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU), has been honored with the prestigious Hall of Fame Award at the 23rd World Veterinary Poultry Association (WVPA) Congress 2025. The global congress, themed "Sustainable Healthy Poultry for a Healthier World," is being held from October 6–10, 2025 at the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) in Sarawak, Malaysia.

Dr. Chowdhury, currently serving in the Department of Pathology, Faculty of Veterinary Science at BAU, received the honor in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the poultry science community, groundbreaking research in avian pathology, and his long-standing dedication to advancing poultry health both in Bangladesh and internationally.
