Agrilife24.com:A grand Eid reunion and family get-together of Rotary members from the Rajshahi zone was held today, April 10, at 9:15 AM, bringing together Rotarians, families, and distinguished leaders from across the district. The event served as a heartfelt celebration of Rotary’s spirit of fellowship, service, and family bonding during the festive occasion of Eid.
The gathering witnessed the gracious presence of key central leaders from Rajshahi, adding immense value to the occasion. The event was graced by Chief Guest PDG Istiaque A Zaman, along with RIPSA (Chief Country Coordinator, D64 & D65). Special Guests included PDG AKM Shamsul Huda and Deputy Country Coordinator, D64 PDG SAM Shokwet Hossain.
The keynote address was delivered by TIM Nurul Kabir (Assistant Country Coordinator). Also present were Mahmudul Hasan (Cortey Coordinator, RISPS, D-64) and M A Mannan (Event Chair). The program was further strengthened by the presence of Rajshahi Central President Md. Mizanur Rahman, PP President Dr. Md. Hemayatul Islam Arif, RIPSA Co-Coordinator of Public Image VP Md. Atiqur Rahman, Dr. Golam Mawla, and Mohona.
A highlight of the event was the special award presentation to Rotary Rajshahi Central President Elect Md. Rofiqul Islam Ripon in recognition of his unwavering dedication and outstanding contributions to Rotary service. The award was presented by the chief guest and central leaders in front of an appreciative audience of Rotarians and family members.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest PDG Istiaque AZaman said, “This Eid reunion is not just a celebration—it is a reaffirmation of our commitment to humanity and family. Today, we honor those who lead by example, and Md. Rofiqul Islam Ripon’s dedication truly inspires us all.”
RIPSA, Chief Country Coordinator, added, “Rotary is about people and purpose. Events like these strengthen our bond and remind us why we serve. I am hopeful that under the leadership of President Elect Ripon, Rajshahi Central will achieve even greater milestones.”
Md. Mizanur Rahman, President of Rotary Rajshahi Central, expressed his gratitude to all attendees and emphasized that the spirit of Eid should continue to inspire Rotarians to serve the community with renewed energy and compassion.
