Agrilife24.com: The World’s Poultry Science Association - Bangladesh Branch (WPSA-BB) and the Bangladesh Poultry Industries Central Council (BPICC) will host the closing ceremony of the 13th International Poultry Show on February 22, 202 at the Bangladesh–China Friendship Exhibition Center in Purbachal, Dhaka. The three-day event, held from February 20 to 22, brought together leading industry experts, researchers, policymakers, and business leaders from across the globe to discuss advancements and opportunities in the poultry sector.
The closing ceremony was graced by distinguished guests, including Professor Dr. A K Fazlul Haque Bhuiyan, Vice Chancellor of Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh as the Chief Guest. Dr. Md. Abu Sufiun, Director General of the Department of Livestock Services (DLS) and H.E. Andre Carstens, Acting Charge D’Affaires of the Royal Netherlands Embassy in Dhaka, attended as Special Guests. The session was presided over by Mr. Moshiur Rahman, President of WPSA-BB and Convenor of the International Poultry Show and Seminar.
The program will commence at 3:00 PM with a welcome address by Dr. Biplab Kumar Pramanick, General Secretary of WPSA-BB. This will be followed by addresses from the co-convenor, Mr. Shamsul Arefin Khaled,International Poultry Show and Seminar Organizing Committee, special guests, and the chief guest.
A crest-giving ceremony will take place at 3:30 PM to honor contributions and achievements in the poultry industry. The event will conclude with a vote of thanks by Mr. Moshiur Rahman at4:30 PM.
