With over 17 years of in-depth experience in feed milling, grain handling, and poultry equipment, Mr. Alam brings a wealth of knowledge and hands-on expertise to his new role. He will be responsible for driving the strategic growth of GPT’s grain-related products and services across the Bangladesh market.
Mr. Alam holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Dhaka University of Engineering and Technology (DUET), Gazipur, and an International Diploma in Supply Chain Management (P) awarded by ITC/UNCTAD/WTO in Geneva, Switzerland. His strong academic background combined with his proven track record in the industry makes him a valuable asset to GPT’s regional leadership team.
Prior to joining GPT, Mr. Alam served as Senior Deputy General Manager (Operations) at Provita Group, where he led the Feed Mill Operations Team for over three years. His career in the poultry and grain sector began with Aftab , where he led the engineering team for more than 12 years, earning recognition for his dedication, innovation, and leadership.
His appointment is expected to significantly enhance GPT’s operational capabilities in Bangladesh and further strengthen relationships with clients and industry partners. The GPT Team welcomes Mr. Alam and looks forward to the new milestones his leadership will bring to the grain sector in Bangladesh.
