Staff correspondent: ACI Anima Health & CECA jointly organized a special scientific event titled ‘ACI-CEVA CHICKS NIGHT’ on Wednesday evening (18 December) at Holiday Inn, Dhaka. The event was focused on "Vaccinated Layer Chicks: Optimum Quality and Uniformity through Hatchery Vaccination".
This event is exclusively designed for Commercial Layer DOC sales and technical personnel from top Key Breeder Companies in Bangladesh where ACI CEVA foreign & local Technical Resource personnel were facilitated sessions.
Business Director of ACI Anima Health (Vaccine) Dr. Md. Moynul Islam welcomed the guests at the event. Then the experts presented their scientific papers one by one.
“ACI-CEVA Collaboration in Bangladesh” were jointly presented by Dr. Md. Saiful Islam, Business Manager, Ceva, Dr. Sharifat Ali Khan, Assistant Marketing Manager, Vaccine, ACI & Dr. Khaled Bin Amin, Marketing Manager, Vaccine, ACI.
In the event, experts discussed the following topics in details
- “Laboratory Finding Updates in Bangladesh” was addressed by Dr. Sohail Al Mahmud, Manager-Veterinary Services, ACI.
- “Impacts of Vaccination Handling on Layer Performance” briefed by Dr. Saravana Perumal, National Veterinary Service Manager, Ceva.
- “Vaccinated Layer Chicks: CEVA's Innovative Approach” by Dr. Bikash Chandra Saha, Technical Manager, Ceva
“Transformation of farming system and importance of hatchery vaccination” by Dr. Md. A. Saleque, Chief Technical Advisor, ACI Animal Health. - “Discussion on Presentation” was addressed by Dr. Hiresh Ranjan Bhowmik, Chief Advisor, ACI Animal Health.
Finally, Dr. Md. Amjad Hossain, Head of Business, ACI Animal Health expressed his sincere thanks and gratitude to the invited guests for coming. He commented that the program was successful with the sincere participation of all of them.
