MoU signed between Bangladesh Agricultural University & Maverick Innovation

Staff reporter: A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU & Maverick Innovation. The ceremony was organized by Department of Poultry Science at Animal Husbandry Conference Room, on 7 October, 2024 (Monday) at 12:00 pm.

Kbd. Dr. Md. Helal Uddin, Registrar, BAURES Director Professor Dr Hammadur Rahman & Prof. Dr. Bapon Dey, Head, Department of Poultry Science signed on behalf of-Bangladesh Agricultural University and Dr. Kabir Chowdhury, Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Maverick Innovation & Ankon Lahirt signed on behalf of Maverick Innovation.

According to the MoU, both institutions will cooperate with each other in research, education and other activities. Researchers and invited guests hope to open a new horizon in the poultry industries.

This collaboration will act as a bridge between industry and academia and will help to promote applied research based on the need of the poultry industry in Bangladesh. This will also identify potential areas of improvement to facilitate future growth and development of the industry, more specifically identify the areas of improvement to facilitate the export of poultry products.

Professor Dr. A. K. Fazlul Haque Bhuiyan Vice-Chancellor, BAU, Mymensingh was present as the chief guest on the occasion & Professor Dr. Bapon Dey, Head, Department of Poultry Science Bangladesh presided over the event. Professor Dr. Subash Chandra Das, Department of Poultry Science delivered the welcome speech on the occasion.

Professor Dr. Sachchidananda Das Chowdhury, Honorable UGC Professor, Department of Poultry Science, Dr. Muhammad Shahidul Haque, Students' Affairs Advisor, Convener of the dean council Professor Dr.Khandaker Md. Mostafizur Rahman, Professor Dr. Md. Ruhul Amin, Dean, Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Professor Dr. M. Hammadur Rahman, Director, Bangladesh Agricultural University Research System (BAURES) were also present.

Teachers & and students from Animal Husbandry faculty of the University from different departments were also present in the event.
